Sergey SkopintsevThanks Serge. Agree with your points. I also see bad handling of the overheads track: couldn't manage to get both toms and cymbals out of it. As a result toms sound like they're played on a different kit in a different space, while cymbals are almost completely dissolved.
For guitar tracking, I started experimenting with it just few months ago. It was a big surprise that aside of understanding the recording technique and establishing the process I should also change a LOT in guitar setup and in a way I play it, i.e. change habits of a non-recording player that are there for many years. So no wonder why current result sounds like a demo 🙂
