      Hi everyone,

      I have been offered an analog EQ, namely an SPL Passeq, newest model. So far my credo has been that EQs can be software if they are not tube based, while I prefer analog compressors for vocals and transients. I prefer some EQ for tracking and do not like to track through plugins.

       

      Do you guys see any advantage of an analogue EQ on the Mixbus vs software? We are talking 2,5K€ here. (Pro) advice much appreciated.
