When Reaper goes to 90% CPU!

I had little or no plug-ins running.

I was about to tear my hair out in frustration!

No switch or setting seemed to make any difference, 93%-100%

Crashing constantly!

I was 4 hours into accomplishing little or nothing.

Just got this idea to close session and open some other mix session..

BAM!

The CPU went back to 30% with many plugins running.

I don't know what the root cause was, but there comes a time when starting over is a good idea.
You can at least close session, start a new session and see if things improve.
