        Hey Mike, I’ve not used the SSL Origin but, mixed and recorded a lot on E & G series back in the 90’s. The one thing from the pictures is that the faders seem a fair bit shorter than originals… may be just the pics but something I noticed.

        Have you tried Sphere recording consoles? The routinely have gear for sale. I posted a thing to the Gear talk thread a few days ago as they had some amazing gear for sale…
        I know that’s mot the answer you’re looking for, apologies… thought I’d mention it though.. 🤷‍♂️

          Hi Mike, did you end up getting the Origin? I don’t have that one, but I do have the SSL XL Desk and I love it. Not quite as big as the Origin, but plenty big for my home studio. What are you referring to as far as when you say “tick off every box”?
