      A great film that looks at the history of Sound City and how the rise of digital recording and formats, some what killed "great music"

      Some excellent footage and discussion about "committing to a sound upfront" and "recording live" for the ultimate energy between band members.

      "Rocker Dave Grohl directs this documentary that pays tribute to Sound City, the music studio that spawned albums by Nirvana and other legends"

          innit. it really summed a lot of things up regarding the old days VS the new days and the big changes "throw away" digital recording brings. (i must be getting old)
