      I was asked to record a band at warehouse once upon a time.  Long story short, I ran out of inputs and had not mic'd the drums yet.  I had an old Realistic PZM mic with me and I just put that on the ground in front of the drums.  Absolutely amazed at how balanced the kit came out.  Does anyone here use a PZM for anything interesting?
