Problem importing random tracks in Logic? Fix here!

I noticed several times that some tracks from the PLAP multitracks failed to be imported in Logic with the message "File does not exist" or similar. I've realised that this is a problem with the dots inside the base file names. I was fixing this renaming the files manually but as this is a bit tedious, I let you here  a simple automator workflow to rename all of them in one go.

Usage:

 

1. Double clic on remove_dots and select “install as service”

2. Go to the folder in finder that contains the track files to rename and select all of them.

3. Go to menu Finder->Services and select “remove_dots”. Selected files should be renamed with underscore instead of dots so you can import them without errors after.
