I am about to start my first EP and I want to make sure my Guitar/Bass tuning is on point. I've heard a lot of praise for the Peterson Strobic Tuners. Are they better then tuning on my trusty Snark, TC Electronics PolyTune, or in Logic Pro Through my signal change on clean tones? And if so, should I go with the desktop one over the clip on? Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

I used stroboscopic tuners in 1966. That was all we had. If you have tuners that you use all the time (trust) use those.

In the studio? I have Logic Pro X, and any number of iPhone apps that tune. My Casio PX-330 piano is always 2-3 cents out of tune with my reality 😉

yeah, I have the Peterson strobe on my iphone and it works great! I always set up my guitars intonation and tune using it. I would def recommend it for $9.99!
