      Hey there
      I'm trying to get the same pad effect as in the song "Salt and Shadow" by Thrice. Can anybody please help to point me in the right direction? It seems as though there are two different pad effects going on and it also sounds as if one might be sidechaining with a silent kick or something like that, but I am unsure.

        I think it's a normal pad with lots of Reverb and yes, the kick of the song seems to be triggering the Filter of the Pad which has also some Resonance dialed in.
