      Bio: I have been a musician from a very early age, playing mostly Guitar, Drums and Bass over the past 30 years. Around 1998 I became very interested in recording, mixing and mastering technology, the process and how it can also reinforce, enhance and capture the best performances possible. My driving force is achieving that very satisfying "wow" effect, where the expectation has been exceeded, something new has been created, that only goosebumps, fist-pumps and smiles can confirm, it's that sound you have been searching for!

          Hello Matthew;

          How do you like Console 1? I really like the idea of a focused, choice limited, hands on tool. Do you use it often?

          Studio looks great!

            Hi Cody,

            sorry been crazy at work the past weeks and missed this post. I use console 1 on practically every mix. It is a great toolkit which is very comprehensive. The gates are useful and work well on most sources, I use punch and sustain on kicks,snares & toms, EQ is really good and well visualised, the comps can be sometimes a little heavy-handed (always A/B them to start out with) and the Drive & character works really well too. I have the API & Neve flavours too, but to be honest i mostly use the standard as delivered SSL.

            Hope this helps!

            Matt
