      Hi all, I've just put this up on the Facebook group for the Pro Mix Academy but I thought I'd put it here as well. Just looking for some feedback and a different perspective. I've got to a point where I think I've finished mixing this one, plus I've spend LOADS of time on it and I want to move on! I'd love to know what you think, cheers.

        It sounds great in my humble opinion Sara ! 🙂
        Clear and solid contemporary mix.
        The only thing: kick drum is a bit lost (forgive me, i am a drummer) and synths are fighting against vocals (forgive me, i am not the pro) for my taste.
        I would also try to give more room to vocals in that "screaming" section.
        Really enjoyed the mix !

          Thanks Arthur, that's great feedback.

          I did a revised mix which might be of interest although I didn't touch the kick, I mainly added a little more saturation to the vocal

            Just an idea - i would like to try to mute some stuff from around 2:40. Maybe leaving just drums, bass, lead guitar (not rhythm) and vocals. Something like i did in "Gone" from 2:33

              Wow Sara great mixes!! The Drums sound amazing!! That snare has an SSL spank to it!! Chorus comes in HUGE and vocal is present at all times! Maybe a touch of volume automation on the kick in the choruses, maybe even a little extra high end on the Kick just in the choruses! Amazing work!
