I have an opportunity to mix some Stiff Little Fingers tracks. It is a show from 2015. My friend is their FOH and asked me to look at the tracks. It was recorded on an Avid Profile 48/24 16 tracks of the whole show hour and thirty minutes. He hit record and let it roll.

So what do you think? Cut up the show into songs? Work with them as is as one long project? Was thinking what if's.
Like in the middle you muck up cleaning the bass drum track and you are already 4 songs in.

      Thoughts?

Personally I would have a look at the first song as a starting point and see how it sounds, if you can get a great sound on the first song then the same template could be used on the rest given they all are from the same live session. Also it gives you some room to adjust any tracks as the session rolls on such as the vocalist tones changing a little towards the end etc.
