ParticipantHello everyone!
My name is Joseph Valo III and here is a little about my background and about my home studio.I have been around music since I was around 4 years old. My first musical instrument was a set of wooden spoons that my grandfather made on his lathe and then hollowed out. I can play a broad variety of musical instruments like Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Piano, Trombone, Baritone, Banjo, Mandolin and just about anything that you put in front of me. Also I have some experience in mixing live sound as well. My first actual recording experience was when I was playing Bass Guitar in this band and we recorded our 4 song EP., but before that, it was recording myself using a cassette tape player with an internal mic built in the cassette player. Then about 4 years ago I started getting in to mixing and so forth. I took some online classes through Coursera with Berkley College of Music. Then I found Warren Huarts' channel "Produce Like A Pro" on YouTube and learned even more just from watching those videos. Then I decided to make the move to join the "Produce Like A Pro Academy" and haven't looked back since.
My home Studio is Located in Salisbury, Pennsylvania
Genres: Country, Bluegrass, Pop, Rock, Metal.

ParticipantThanks. Yes, Warren is a great teacher who puts everything into perspective. I just wish that one day I could go and attend one of his masterclasses. Put a set of spoons in my hand and i can play them as well...LOL
