hi all i am after some info on best way to mix for classical guitar,

i though a great way to do this would be to record a quick piece then people could mix it and share what they did.

i hope im not over stretching the mark with people and if you don't want to do it just dont lol.

anyhow its only 2 track, one is a Di and the other a mic, the mic is a condenser so a little noisy but that allĀ  ads too the experience and pain of mixing it,

up to now myself ive had problems in getting a really warm sound and a warm background if that makes any sense

I work with Logic Pro X

Used the SSL Native Channel strip for EQ (cut around 750 and 450, slight boost around 2.5K)

UAD 1176 REV A Plugin for light compression ( 4:1 ratio slow attack and fast release)

Logic stock Chromaverb Reverb Plugin with round 100ms of pre-delay

Unfortunately I did not save the project otherwise I would have provided you with screen shots of the settings

Hey Jon, definitely not over stretching the mark. This is exactly what we are all here for.
              Will give it a go.
