      Hello!

It's been some time since I last wrote a post 🙂

I have been mixing again and I am thinking about buying an external compresor (maybe an 1176 imitation) mainly to track.

I own a Focusrite Clarett 2pre interface and I don't know if I can connect an external compressor to it.

I have seen that maybe I need to extend it using ADAT to have more inputs/outputs but I don't know if it's worth the money...

      Can anybody help me?
Does anyone have a configuration like this?

I own several 1176 emulations...is it worth buying the hardware?
Which one do you recomend? I have seen many models:

      - klark teknik 76
      - warm audio wa76
      - bes audio beta 76 (costs mucho mre money than the others)

Thanks for your help, I am totally lost

        Hello Nial,
        Hope you are well!
I was looking at the 1176 as well, but Sweetwater recommended Warm Audio WA76 as a option if wanting to spend less money. Just letting you know that I'm not an expert, but I love the WA76's! I bought two of them. I use them on guitars and also I use them on vocals with my Neve Shelford Channel Strip (parallel compression)
        Have a great day!
