      Hi Warren

      I'm really interested in learning about referencing. I hear great sounding drums or guitars on records but they are not isolated so I have no point of reference.

      Do you use anything like a frequency analyzers and other metering? I'm courious as I know most of us have these analytical tools but are maybe not using them to their potential!

      This would help me in understanding what, and where I should be aiming for in frequencies as I feel my mixes don't translate well due to my speakers and room.
