So I have what I would call a decent mic locker at this point, but I am trying to figure out if there is anything that may be missing. Disclaimer: I do not record live drums, except for Djembe, out of my home studio, so I do not have the mics necessary for that. My collection consists of:
1x Blue Bottle, with one of every capsule, and a second B06
2x Blue Stage I Rocket
1x Blue Baby Bottle
2x Neumann KM184
2x Neumann U87 (Ai version)
2x Royer R121 (matched pair)
1x AKG D112
1x Sure SM57
I feel like anything else brings me up on the law of diminishing returns, but I am curious if there is something that would be worth getting to fill a hole that I currently can’t fill. Thanks in advance!
