Hey All! Just a quick question. Am I the only one who likes/gets ok results adding verb to a whole stereo mix? Of course band passed and in small quantities. I appreciate this should be done at mix stage but when needs must.

What do you all think? Am I crazy?

Lot's of people add some reverb on to the whole mix, I've done it many times even a tiny bit of delay to create a vibe. Ozone includes reverb on their mastering suite.

          Hi,

To repeat what many have said before me “if it sounds good do it”.  There are few rules but lots of suggestions.  History is full of experimentation that is now treated as gospel. My only concern would be  a build up of low end or mud.  Are you using a separate bus for the reverb, eq’n and mixing back in or are you adding to the mastering chain?
          Prost!
