G'day!
Warren has mentioned several times recently how these great recordings from the 1970s used WAY more compression than we think they did. This really stuck out to me with the isolated Ziggy Stardust tracks. I would very much appreciate a lesson with some examples of achieving that sound even though it seems totally counter-intuitive. How do they get that much compression to not sound over-compressed? An in-depth look at getting the "Ziggy Stardust" (and countless others) sound would be an AMAZING tutorial to see.
Cheers!
