Last time I set up a project my producer was irritated as while I had detected the right tempo and tracked to it, the tempo track for all my added tracks were indeed synced but to a variable speed master tempo track.

Took him like two hours to figure out how to fix everything.

He was doing something like checking musical mode in the Pool for each track, going back to the editor, then recording a snip at the beginning, merging that with the existing track content and finally bouncing and replacing. The result was a new track with the steady tempo stamped on it. I don't quite understand it.
