Downey Orrick

Musician, Mixer, Producer

Originally born in San Francisco, Downey's lifelong interest in music can be traced to being surrounded by music from an early age. With the support of his immediate family, he first tried his hand at the drums. After hearing The Beatles for the first time at age 9, he was immediately inspired to pick up the guitar and began teaching himself how to play and write his own music.

Heavily influenced by guitarists such as Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Slash and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Downey’s unique style is particularly molded by British Blues, ’70s Classic Rock and ’80s Hard Rock/Metal.

In 2010, he garnered an Audio Technology degree at SAE Institute of San Francisco and has since used this skill set to help craft professional recordings and demos for his various bands.
