KeymasterIntro is working for me!
Lol.... that's awesome!!! Nailed it again Arthur!
You should do a version with Kaedyn's Vocals distorted, but not pitch affected... be cool!

ModeratorHa ha, thanks Toby. Was fun again but it takes a lot of time 😉
Any idea for distortion on vocals in particular !?November 6, 2016 at 8:14 am #15484Jeff Macdonald
ModeratorThis was great Arthur! I agree with Toby on the voice side. Try Decapitator on Punish if you have sound toys. Make it 'dark' and blend to taste. Lo Fi might get you there as well, heck even digital distortion by just overloading the entire insert chain might be fun, just filter out the 4-5k a bit so it doesn't sound biting and thin - and feed that pitch-shifted version underneath to fatten it up!
Or if you want to go crazy try a high gain amp simulator running the vocal in parallel that should give you a pretty distorted result that might be fun.

ModeratorOK folks - it is 2:1 for another take 😉
Thanks a lot Jeff, i'll try it with amp sim as i've already tried a bit.
Just because. I want to go crazy ! 😉November 6, 2016 at 3:01 pm #15491Jeff Macdonald

KeymasterOoo... heavier guitar sound - nice!!
Lots of reverb on the vocals... deciding if working for me or not.
Quite a bit of the 'guitaring' is lost underneath the vocals.... loads of low mids....
Like the different reamping - brings much more definition and excitement to the mix.
Not sure the vocals are working. I like a lot of the work you've done, but it's swamped in boomy lowness from the vocals...
....wait and see what other people think, maybe it's just me 😉

ModeratorI was sure, on this remarkable day, my fun mix isnt't worth to be afraid of ...
But ... so what !
Let's forget The Toblerone Gate in UK for a while 😉I am guilty on all counts !
There is too much vocals pitched down in the mix. Also too much compression after "mastering".
I do quick revision soon ...November 9, 2016 at 2:26 pm #15560Arthur Labus

ParticipantJust saw this! Awesome reminds me growing up listening to thrash like metal church, king diamond, megadeth etc. Very cool heavy stuff. I could send you some rippin yngwie leads i can play to this sometime for fun in the future. You know Yngwie Malmsteen? He's one of my favs but my influences are messed up as i love the edge to buckingham, may then yngwie, john 5, eric johnson, blues saraceno, satch. Im also a guitar teacher. Great job Arthur brought me back to my youth! Metal lol Heck i still will put on an old slayer record from time to time. \m/ mike
