I am wanting to make an exact clone of my windows 10 hard rive with all the programs and plugins. Does anyone here have a great suggestion on what they use that makes a clone copy in case your main drive has a stroke or heart failure. Just wanting to make sure I have a backup that will take it's place without losing activation's, etc.
I did do some searching and found a few programs and tutorials but would rather hear from users in the know of what really works. ; )

I am in IT as m day job. We use CloneZilla to create an image of the drive to a USB disk. Now that I am all SSD it takes about 10-20 minutes to clone the C;\ drive.

I use Veeam Endpoint Backup (it's free).

I would check first if your motherboard allows to mirror internal drives as RAID.
