Hi Arthur, it would be great to have your guitar friends work on this song. I am not sure about whether it would be cool to invite them as non members without Warren's say so though. This is his academy and I think we need to have his permission before anything like that could happen. Perhaps if either Warren or Connor see this they may be able to give their opinion. We all pay a subscription to be here and are very lucky that something like this is here for us!
By the way I am really happy with the way this PLAP Production idea is going, it really goes to show how many very talented people there are out there who share the same love for this wonderful gift we have called music!!

Hi Cris,
thanks for feedback ! Drums are not ready yet 🙂 So give me few days and i'll upload separate tracks (as usual).

If you have any wishes - just say. Maybe different snare or mute china cymbal, anything.

About input from outside the academy - well, at least we are here for producing and mixing, and we are working with audio files recorded (mostly) of not members 😉 We have only few days left, so i'll ask my fellows and if there will be any notable response there will be rock we can still use it or not.

There shouldn't be a problem using outside musicians, I think. In this first stage we're more taking on a role of producers, and using session players is part of that. As Arthur said, we're already working on lots of material not played by members. Personally, I would rather have vocals on this one than making it an instrumental, but it's of course possible to make more than one version, and ultimately it's Cris decision to make.

Had a first stab at vocals last night and was ok but could be a lot better. Will try again tonight in the 7 minutes I might have with no-one else in the house !

Discovered that with the style I'm going for (Dickinson meets Dio - well in my head that's what it is !) I just might need to heavily comp rather than do a few straight runs thru 😉

I will post up tonight - might be a few files for different sections so you can play about but will all be consolidated for timing.

Right Folks - you asked for it....

No I am not being injured in any way - I actually sound like that !

Vox files are Verse Line 1 and Line 2, Pre Chorus and Chorus so you can have fun cutting and pasting etc as there is overrun on phrases etc just to make life interesting.

I have included a comped file with some Isotope Nectar processing if you feel a bit lazy

If you want stuff done differently ( in time ? in tune ? etc ) just let me know and I will try to comply - might take longer than 30 seconds...

Try not to laugh too hard - my insurance won't cover accidental death thru over-amusement 😉
