      Hey gang,
Do any of you have any real world experience with these? I know Warren uses the 540's and the pencil condensers (340's?). I need to add something to the mic locker and am seriously considering a pair of these. I have a line on the pair for $250USD and was wondering if they work well on things like Bass Gtr cabs or smaller Electric gtr cabs, maybe on the outside of a kick or for congas/rack toms or horns(not that I record many horns, but one never knows).

I am fairly confident that they will be fine for acoustic gtrs and Vocals.

      Thanks!!

I just received mine in the mail. Hopefully, I can try out bass, small guitar amps and shakers in the next week or so.
I'll see if I can post my results.

Note: I don't have a BAE 1073 or other higher end preamp. I only have Roland and Focusrite audio interfaces.
I've been thinking about springing for the BAE since I like the sound Warren's been getting. I'm also looking at the Focusrite ISA One. It looks a little more flexible and can record both a mic and line/DI simultaneously. And it costs less than half of the BAE. Hmmmm, what to do, what do?! lol

Hi guys! So just so you know I'm getting Lewitt to do a special price for all us, I've never made any money from them, always just promoted them because I believe in amazing value for money products! I'll make the announcement as soon as I get all of the details finalised! Have a marvellous time recording and mixing, many thanks Warren
