      Hello everyone. Can i use wah pedal with DI electric guitar? I use Behringer xr18 and i want to use my wah-wah pedal to record a guitar part. I use an amp simulator with guitar plugged directly to one of the inputs and recording with Pro Tools. Where does the pedal go?

        Hello Kristjan.

        Connect the guitar to the wah-pedal and then from the pedal to the DI input.

          You may not get the same effect doing directly through. An alternative is a Roland expression pedal. These are midi controlled and can be setup with most amp simulators such as amplitude. They then have the same effect as traditional hardware.

            Ok do i connect guitar to the wah pedal input and the pedal output goes to the mixer?
