Hey folks. You'll notice in a lot of Warren's videos Sansamp is his go to plugin for DI Bass. I just wanted to mention that Cubase 8 has a new excellent VST bass amp simulator that can be used to the same effect.

Perfect timing. I just upgraded from Cubase 8 Essentials (which is a great value!!) to Cubase Pro 8.5.

Working on bass for my first track in CB Pro 8.5 and I was wondering if there was a CB alternative to Sansamp Warren loves. And here it is!

Question. I've now built my home studio where I have options and some confusion on approach. For bass, I assume I should use my best preamp (I have a FocusRite Saffire Pro 40, Eleven Rack, PreSonus TubePrev2 and - what I think is my best preamp - a Audient MiCO with instrument input.

Is it really down to just pick one that gets me to the tone I want the easiest and fastest?
