ParticipantHola Plapancheros !
Had an idea for a couple of silly collaborations that could be fun.
Number one - Blues Club - first rule of Blues Club is ... you know the rest..
but seriously how about we pick a key and a tempo and see how many variants of 12 bars we can knit together - any style/all styles - electric/acoustic/electronic/techno/reggae/hip hop/acapella - Rennaisance from Guido - everything ! Could run for years and years....
I don't mind coordinating submissions and collating them into one silly blues jam.
Second - God Save Queen - we ask Obi Warren, as a disciple of Brain May and chums, if he could suggest a Queen song he loves and we could do a cover - everyone free to do as much or as little as they like, we stick it all in the pot and people mix whatever version they want - just for to show our appreciation of all he's done for us. Could be an interesting FBF !
Just a couple of ideas - any comments/ ideas ?
Cheers

ParticipantOf course I'm in too guys! I had a blues trio for a couple of years where we mixed blues with other styles. Being a guitarist first I'm always up for a silly blues jam, and I love doing blues in different styles 😉

ParticipantOK Anders - your application has been received and reviewed and we have a position available....
Love the Cooder stuff but what really floats my boat is that Fuzz Brother track - really like that a lot - if it is released I would buy it !
OK - shall we do the blues thing ?
G at 100BPM ? - I'm open to alternatives - I Love A and E (no, not Accident and Emergency!)but they are the obvious choices - I do have harps that work in those keys but think I have C diatonic too somewhere. Harmonica/Techno/Dubstep/Blues ?
Ohh Yeah, Oooh yeah - gonna be a boy childs a comin'.... gonna be seventh son......
Cheers

hattrack into the ring:https://www.dropbox.com/s/2jtdz4n629gavhi/DR20g-80BPM.wav?dl=0
It's ready drum track, 80 BPM, nothing special, can improve any detail anytime. Also go for 100 BPM.

ParticipantGlad I made the cut Craig! Yeah, I love those nasty fuzz sounds, especially when playing electric slide. Harmonica/Techno/Dubstep/Blues is fine by me! You got some great beats going on so why don't you set-up a rhythm track as a starting point. Any key will be alright.

ParticipantHey Arthur, for some reason I didn't see your post until now. Big fat drum track, sounds really good. But I think if we're going to give it a dubstep/techno treatment we should start out with a beat like that. Over to our leader and co-ordinator Dove Man.

ParticipantHi Chaps,
My original idea was that everyone did their own take on a twelve bar blues and I would collate it into a whole but if you want to go this way - no probs. Im away for a few days but will try and do something next week.
Cheers
