      Hey guys,
I have been seeing the carver PM 125's and 1.5's and even the 2.0's on the market at really nice used prices lately and wanted to see what the PLAP opinion would be for these to drive passive monitors or headphones.

Back in the day I had a couple that I used to drive horns in my top boxes (x'ed over at about 7K and up)and wedges (x'ed over at 2K and up in a biamp) but do they do well driving a set of say Urei 809's or NS10's or????

Great question Rich! I wish I could answer that, but I've note used Carver Power Amps. In the past I've used Crown, Hafler and Bryston to drive NS10's, all perfumed extremely well! Have a marvellous time recording and mixing, many thanks Warren

Yes the odor of equipment is pretty important as well ;-)))
