This is my 2nd mix here, with a little help from my friends. Mixed in my new studio on Studio 1 Pro 5 With Waves, Plugin Alliance, Slate, Ozone 9 pro, and Pre Sonus plugins. Just switched over to mixing in the box from all analog gear, still learning my way around. Would Love your feedback ! https://soundcloud.com/roy-birkbeck/bang-a-gong

Well, I'd say your transition is complete! This sounds great! Great bottom end. Love the beat on my feet, as it were. Love the guitar sounds. I instinctively reached over to the volume knob, cranked it up, and restarted the track. Rockin'! Loved the horn section when you got to the second chorus(?). That made me smile. I mean, this is good stuff. The only thing that took me out of the song was that it felt like the tempo was unsettled. That's obviously not a mixing thing, but other than that, all I have is more appreciation and praise for your work. Great job! Keep it up! And I'll keep cranking it up!

Thanks Lem, Im glad your digging what Im Trying to do. I try to give all these tunes a little piece of myself. Maybe something as basic as what I would have liked to do to these songs If I was mixing the original back in the day. Im glad I joined this great group of talented people. It has been a great learning experience for me. Keep on rockin brother !
