In my experience, mixing 10 tracks can be much more difficult than 60 because they have to fill the mix, which can be tricky as well.

That's for sure! 🙂 Regarding folders and color-coding - I have yet to master this, like many other nuances in Reaper, in order to simplify and speed up the mixing process, but otherwise - I have already learned main Reaper features. The mixer with all the tracks in front of my eyes - it is quite convenient.

Hi JST-Studios, Thanks for such a detailed review and valuable advice! I absolutely agree with you in many ways, as well as that the guitar and bass drive the song. Guitar - yes - there should be more, I agree. For my taste, the bass,- it could be louder and tighter. As for the drums, and their punch - everything suits me here, and by the way - they have nothing but compression (reverb and other effects). As for the vocals - I confess: I improvised with him deliberately. Perhaps there are a lot of effects on the chorus (I would comb the delay), and maybe this "ate" part of the sound of other instruments, but what can I do here :)) Forgive me for my immodesty, but - I listen to the mix on monitors and in headphones, and even with all the shortcomings - I can't hide - I like it! :)))

In fact, thank you very much for the good advice - this is very valuable to me!
