I don't use soundboard for many reasons. Using it on the walls as you described is fine if you are in a conference room, but definitely NOT in a studio. It only cuts about 1-2kHz and up and does nothing for the low end. Music spans 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Speech from 125 Hz to 4 kHz. NOTE: almost ALL commercially available acoustics products are optimized for VOICE. We live and work in a NICHE market and we use products that are created for a much larger industry; Architectural Acoustics.
