    Hey!

    Interesting topic.

    I work a lot with Polish singer. When she sings in English all the "esses" realy pop through couse of the accent.

    I started turning my Rode nt1a about 70 degrees right towards the singer. Also I keep pop shield on slight angle. Her voice is 100% better since.

    I used to try using de-essers but it would make tracks sound too muddy or artificial if that makes sense...?

    I spoke with friend engineer from Poland and he said its nature of the beast. Cheap miks dont work well on some singers. 🙁

    I use Cakewalk CA - 2A as first plugin in chain. Its got gentle de-esser there. Great plugin btw...
